Services
Eye Glasses & Hearing Aid Assistance
Two of Lions Clubs major focus are assistance with obtaining eye exams and glasses, as well as hearing aids for lower income families. Everett Central Lions joins Lions clubs around the world in providing help where needed. Assistance is provided on a case-by-case basis. You can download an application on this website or contact your local Lions Club. We also collect used eyeglasses where we process them for shipment to poor countries around the world.
Please bring your gently used glasses to one of many collection boxes around the Everett area, see a brief listing below or contact your local Lions club representative for more locations. Contact Lion: Lee Woodard at 425.493.4200 or by email at lee@lwoodard.com
We have a facility that repairs them, cleans them, measures for strength, and sends them to countries where a pair of glasses would cost more than people could ever hope to accumulate.
